Dark Shadows

Has anyone ever watched "Dark Shadows"?

"Dark Shadows is a Gothic soap opera that originally aired weekdays on the ABC television network, from June 27, 1966 to April 2, 1971."

I stumbled upon it after listening to a "This American Life" about a Dark Shadows convention. Luckily youtube had almsot every episode--someone even created minisodes.

So I have watched 7 episodes so far and nothing has really happened. Victoria Winters becomes a nanny of a strange family who live in a big mansion. The first 4 episodes are simply different characters saying "get out now, while you still can".












This show is interesting because it is filmed in front of a live audience, and you can tell when the actors forget their lines, leave scripts in the scene, etc.
